About the Event
The art quilt world is full of bizarre ways to tease out work through themes, fabric choices, or (worst) deadlines. Pat will tell us how she embraces a challenge, sees a design decision, and comes up with a solution no one else would think to make. She will share with us how to use a challenge to turn obtuse ideas in to successful quilts. She will also show first hand how she stores works, uses her design wall, and how she hangs works easily. The lecture focuses on her methods of construction, where she gets ideas, as well as her use of her dynamic hand printed fabric.
